I blind bought this, and at first smell, I was not convinced I fully liked it. I still think I would probably prefer some of the other scents from this brand, but that’s just me. However, it does have lasting power! Most fragrances dissipate so quickly on me, but this one I can still smell hours later without having to reapply (and also without it being nauseating or overwhelming like some fragrances can be.) It has very quickly become a favorite for this reason. Don’t waste your money on other perfumes! Just buy Le Monde Gourmand!

I LOVE this scent. To be fair the longevity is not the greatest and that is the trade off for the cost. To extend the wear I layer this like crazy and I get compliments every single time. I shower with B&BW Strawberry Poundcake, apply the body cream of the same scent, then I add a dry body oil with a strawberry scent. I apply the perfume to pulse points like behind each ear, the crease of my elbows, the back of my knees, and for additional sillage I may spray my chest and the back of my neck. I NEED a second bottle.

So I was looking for a dupe of DK Cashmere Mist. I ended up on Le Monde Gourmand and OOO. This perfume had the same ingredients like Italian bergamot, white lily, and sandalwood. I blindly bought this scent on a wing and a prayer that it would smell good to me.
Thank goodness it was definitely within my signature scent profile.
Although, it doesn't have the deep sandalwood sweetness of Cashmere Mist, I still really like this scent.
It starts out strong and then softens but stays on your skin for hours. One of the best tricks I found that Le Monde Gourmand actually offers to it's users, is to use almond oil or petroleum jelly on the skin and THEN spray the perfume on. This adds to its longevity and the almond oil adds a sweetness that mixes so well with OOO.
The size was a bit smaller than I expected but again this is a good value for such a high end Eu de Parfum. The other amazing thing about Le Monde Gourmand is all of their products are vegan and Cruelty Free with no Parabens, Phthalates or Sulfates.
All in all I'm super happy with my purchase and I intend on buying and trying more of their scents in hair oils, candles and body whips.

I’m very finicky when it comes to perfumes because so many of them smell alike or are boring. This is probably one of the more unique scents I’ve come across. My friend kept complimenting the scent for days on end and wanted to take my bottle from me. My sister wanted to steal it as well. It seems everyone wants to steal it from me. It’s too bad the scent isn’t available anymore. I was planning on making another purchase as soon as I ran out and to buy a couple more as gifts. The scent will last into the next day (on clothes), but the longevity of its strength of when it is first put on will dwindle down within a couple of hours or so. That would be the only downside. And it isn’t that strong to begin with as expected. On skin, it will dissipate almost completely in a matter of a few hours. Overall good scent.
